Gravity riders can fully rely on the Shimano disc brake set BR-MT420 + BL-MT401 (front + rear) – thanks to the 4-piston brake calipers, which have 20% more braking force than the 2-piston version BR- MT400. There are also the BR-MT401 brake levers with 2-finger levers. They have a reach that is comfortable even for small hands and they are pleasing with their slim design. Proper maintenance of the slave and sender units is not difficult thanks to one-way or funnel venting.

One-way vent
One-way venting was developed to quickly and easily prevent air from being in the hydraulic system. Shimano has optimized the routing of the brake fluid in the entire system to prevent air bubbles from getting stuck in the system.
The pipe path of the brake fluid in only one direction, together with the funnel for filling in the mineral oil, enables clean, problem-free bleeding.
